[Well hello there, residents of this fine barge. What you'll find on your screens, is a rather tiffed redhead, looking only just a little like she might be trying to bite her tongue. Without actually puncturing herself.]
Hi- Hello. My name is Virginia Potts, and I've been asked to come and .. work on this ship. [It's only a partial lie. She'd sought it out herself.] That being said, I've come as a warden, and am here to help.
[There's a moment of hesitance, her mouth opening to continue. But then it shuts. ... And she tries again.]
Is there a Tony Stark on the barge?

But I guess it takes all kinds. Is he why you're here? Not to pry, or anything, but it's interesting, hearing about what people think is important enough to make deals for.

No, it's fine. He's the reason. [A beat.] He's all I have.

I'm here because of someone else, too. [It's only fair - Pepper shared, she should give her something in return.] A friend. He's not here, though. He's in trouble, back where I come from. My deal is to get him out of it.

I .. didn't really expect Tony to be here, to be honest. It's a nice surprise. My deal was for him, too.

It's nice to have someone else around, who isn't a cop or a superhero or anything, though. There aren't too many of us.

Really? Not too many .. non-geniuses or superheros around? Did I move to New York and not realize? [Ha ha ha... ha.] At least I'm used to that.

I figured it'd be more like a counseling gig, but that's not really how it's turned out. Us civvies need to stick together.

Exciting, I guess, and not always in a good way. You did miss a nice little vacation last week, though.

... Where's your home, if you don't mind my asking?

I'm from upstate New York, originally. But I've been at school in Paris for the past couple of years.

Oh! Wow, school in Paris. That sounds kind of ... Really nice.
[Pepper was one for the arts; Paris was a favorite stop of hers, though they rarely had reasons for it. At least curating took her there sometimes.]
I'm from DC, originally. Spend a lot of my time traveling- but I tend to stay in Malibu or Manhattan. Tony has a lot of buildings under the Stark name.

[She laughs a little, shaking her head.] I'm hoping someday a building or two will be in my name. A girl can dream, right?

I think you will. I could see more than just one or two.

So you travel a lot? Have any favorite places?

Aside from home? Mm. Rome is nice. Venice. A few of the more tropical places; they have a fabulous spa down in Positano, Italy.
Never actually been, but it's on my bucket list.
